Good going, Ross. I agree with rachelstene about the galleries being closed, always have wanted that - but I think keeping the comments and ratings private is a good step.
Also, limiting the image size so that only buyer and designer see full size is good for deterring those who unscrupulously cut and paste logos from cS galleries without paying the creative. Carry on. glamaz0n |

seed, my pace is not slow nor I do not care if people use my typefaces. I will even tell creatives what I use if the buyer points it out my typeface but likes their entry better. You don't have the slightest clue how I work and design, if you think I am struggling with this style of "fast paced" competition. I can adapt to any way of working and love competing here. Just because I want to talk about certain downsides doesn't mean I can't deal with them, nor that I want to force people to work another way. This poll was simply to see where everyone was at by throwing around new ideas and discussing them. I have no problem with people disagreeing these ideas. I do however, hate it when people make false statements as opposed to opiniated statements. Saying "there is no way to know if a buyer likes someone's entry in a closed gallery" is FALSE. I will show up everytime I see that and point out the truth. However, saying "I prefer to see other people's entries to know exactly what the buyer is thinking" is an opinion and that is fine, and I respect that. seed if you want to contribute to the conversation fine, but avoid calling people "crying children", and chiding us to get to work, Many of us can actually have conversations and design at the same time. |
