this is you portrait? then you are a bit creepy

but it is quite creative work . but i did not saw a face, until i thought "where is the catch besides pencil" ? oh and do you have a beard? pencil thing looks like it

Hi again!

I scrapped the original design on this thread and created this new one instead to have a more professional and formal with a hint of edge to my brand identity. Took me awhile, but yeah, finally finished it but it might need some tweaking once I get some comments.

So basically, the whole idea on the icon is the play on my initials BC (+ - space) with a bit of color spill for the design to not be TOO formal. I also changed my brand name to BluesCue Designs, mainly because I like to rhyme and it sounds cool. Secondly, my name is Blue CUEvas. And lastly, CUE also means 'IDEA' which I try to think of everyday.

So thats a brief explanation. I am currently redesigning my website and this will be used there. Thanks for taking time to look through this thread.

Great logo man. It did however, take me a bit to see the B. Maybe at a smaller scale this will show better. I still think its very solid, and it fits your style. What font is that by the way? I may really consider buying it.. its a very sharp font choice!

The other thing that I see, and I may be wrong.. but I think the spacing between the L and the U is just a tad too much?... but maybe its good at a smaller scale? Thats just my eye looking though..

I just looked at the logo at a smaller scale and the kerning seems fine... scratch that last thought.. lol..

I like this one much better. I agree with monsterleo, it took me awhile to see a bee, all I saw was a 'C'...maybe stretch the box out a bout a tid bit more rectangle than square.

Cibi & Laura, thanks for taking some time to comment, guys! Appreciate it. Sorry, I forgot to also mention that the 'B' is quite hidden intentionally to catch attention and for the other meaning of the word CUE, a clue or a hint of something. But great comments guys! I need to work on the kerning of the 'DESIGN' though to fit perfectly under BLUESCUE.

Cibi, fonts used are Franklin Gothic Demi & Book and Futura Medium.
